All services holds a limited-lifetime warranty against any/all defects in workmanship. In short, [TL;DR] we will cover your service in the event of defects in materials or workmanship. If you have any issue with your service, just give us a call - we want to make it right for you.

Glass Replacements:

We are so confident in our craftsmanship that all replacements carry a Lifetime Warranty. This warranty covers you from all workmanship/installation defects. In theory, when the job is done right the products used should never fail.

Of course, without a doubt, if there is any issue we will be there to take care of it at no additional charge.

What’s not covered:

• External, Secondary, or Post-Service Damages

• Normal wear and tear

• Rock chips, external cracks, or impact damage occurring after installation

• Pre-existing damage to the vehicle, including rust or corrosion

• Delamination

• ADAS recalibration(s) required due to unrelated vehicle repairs or impacts

• Damage caused by improper care, power washing, or modifications

• Water leakage DUE TO pre-emptive car washing.

• Breaking your rear view mirror off

Rock cHIP glass Repairs:

Rock chip repair reinforces the damaged area using professional-grade resin. The goal is to strengthen the glass and help prevent the crack from expanding. Unfortunately these repairs are not a perfect solution. But how we approach these are simple! If you’re unsatisfied with the appearance of the repair, or the repair ever fails in the future, we will credit the entirety of your service costs to a new windshield. Every Single. Dime.

We can’t guarantee a rock chip repair will ever be invisible or will never spread in the future. Glass once it is broken is forever compromised, however rest assured that we will exhaust all options to make your repair the best it could possibly be.

Please Note:

• The damaged area may still be visible after repair
• The repair strengthens the glass but does not return it to brand-new condition
• Temperature changes, vibration, and road conditions can still cause cracks to spread

If the repaired chip spreads from the original damage point, we will credit the amount paid for the repair toward a full windshield replacement performed by us.

If you notice any changes, contact us promptly so we can inspect it.

Our goal is always to give you the safest and most cost-effective solution. If a repair is not strong enough to last, we will always recommend replacement instead.

Disclaimers:

Rust:

• Existing rust, corrosion, or structural damage around the windshield frame (pinchweld) may compromise the seal. While we take reasonable steps to treat minor surface rust, we are not responsible for leaks or adhesion failure caused by pre-existing corrosion or structural defects.

Products & Materials:

• All products used in service are designed to meet or exceed OEM applications & Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards / (DOT).

Driving:

• Customers must follow all recommended safe drive-away times provided at the time of service. Failure to follow these guidelines is a risk for safety and will void this warranty. For all urethane-held installations, to meet Department of Transportation safety specifications for automotive urethane retention, your vehicle must not be driven until specified time has elapsed. After installation, please follow the safe drive-away time and care instructions provided by our technician. This ensures the adhesive cures properly and your windshield performs as designed.

Washing:

• Vehicles should not be washed for a minimum of 72 hours to prevent bond failure. Failure to comply will void warranty. 

Limitation of Liability

• Our liability under this Limited Warranty is limited solely to repair or replacement of the installed glass. We are not responsible for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including loss of vehicle use, towing, or personal expense not caused directly by Allegheny Auto Glass LLC staff.

This warranty is null if unauthorized repairs occur to the service area OR if invoice is unpaid.
